Himanshu Rajpurohit, the 19-year-old entrepreneur, walked away empty-handed despite impressing the Shark Tank India judges by saying that this is his third start-up. His overconfidence and mistake in making the website just two days before Shark Tank India 4, highlighted false promises on the site.
Himanshu's ask for an investment was of Rs 75 lakhs for 1% equity, citing Ritesh Agarwal as his inspiration for starting a firm so early in life. Himanshu provided too much information too rapidly, leaving the sharks overwhelmed. When Kunal Bahl tried to ask him a question, the pitcher snapped back, insulting Vineeta Singh. Vineeta stated that no one would want to invest in such an app, while Kunal enquired about the pitcher's business and what aspects would appeal to the CFOs. Namita also mentioned that similar healthcare apps exist in the market, so what distinguishes Himanshu's offering?
Vineeta probed Himanshu after he attempted to create up a narrative about making money through his podcast, but when asked by Aman, Himanshu had no clear explanation. Vineeta told him to "drop the narrative" and then expressed her concerns about the brand. During cross-questioning, Himanshu explained to Vineeta that he was on the show to seek their mentorship and assistance, as well as to raise outside investment. This statement irritated both Vineeta and Aman.
