In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, M S V S Sai Prudhvi from Hyderabad, Telangana, takes his place on the hot seat. He is graduate from IIT, Roorkee. He is pursuing MBA from IIM, Bengaluru.
He said, “My mother pushed me from 8th standard towards brighter academics. I was doing a job after IIT, but I wanted to up my skills for the market so I pursued MBA.”

His question for Rs 1000 is: Which of these food items is generally in a liquid form? A. Idli, Dosa, Medu Vada, D. Rasam.
He correctly answers option D.
Host Amitabh Bachchan says that it is very difficult to get into IIT and IIM and asks him, “What inspired you?” Prudhvi shared, “After my father passed away, my mother took charge of everything. The way she made sure I have good education, it is only my duty to give it back to her by doing justice to her dedication and all the struggles. She has always prioritized me and supported me. My mother’s cousins helped her with the funds for IIT and then we repaid them once he got a job.”

When Big B asks him about his friends in college, Prudhvi shared, “When I was in 6th standard, it was difficult for us to afford my school fees. In today’s time, Rs 600 is a very little amount but for us, that time it was a lot. My mother took help from school and an IAS got me 50% concession till my 10th standard. Since then I have realised the importance of education and knowledge. I have friends, but education has been my first friend.”
Big B applauds him for his thoughts.
