Gaurav M Sharma, who was last seen in TV show Badal Pe Paon Hain, will now be seen playing an important role in Jhanak. The show is slated to take a 4-year leap and Jhanak (Hiba Nawab) will be seen living in a village in Madhya Pradesh, where she gets to know Gaurav's character. Gaurav said, "I have always opted for roles which are different. Whether it is playing Yuvraj in Yeh Rishta or Toshu in Anupamaa, I enjoy playing different roles. In Jhanak, too, my role will be different as a guy staying in a small village in Madhya Pradesh, who comes in contact with Jhanak. The story will completely change after the 4-year leap and it will be interesting how situations unfold. I am looking forward to my role in Jhanak."
Gaurav, who played Yuvraj in Yeh Rishta, said, "It was an interesting negative role. The role connected with masses. In fact, I thought women will hate me for this role but recently on a visit to Vadodara, a bunch of young girls approached me and shared how much they enjoyed watching me play Yuvraj in Yeh Rishta. The team on Yeh Rishta was good and I connected with Samriddhi Shukla and everyone else on the set."
In the current track in Jhanak, Aniruddh (Krushal Ahuja) and Jhanak (Hiba Nawab) are getting married and their wedding preparations are going on. On the other hand Arshi (Chandni Sharma) is all set to make things difficult for them and not let them get married because she was earlier married to Aniruddh.
