Ishita Ganguly, known for her versatility and strong performances, continues to impress audiences with her latest role as Chamkeeli in Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurain. As the cunning and ruthless eldest daughter-in-law, she has captivated viewers with her powerful screen presence.
Having played a variety of roles throughout her career, Ishita embraces challenges and enjoys portraying characters that push her artistic limits. “I’ve played all kinds of characters, from positive to negative, from historical to contemporary. Each role brings something new, and I love exploring different shades of emotions,” she shares.
However, with every strong performance comes scrutiny. Ishita acknowledges that playing a negative role often attracts online trolls and negative comments. “It’s part of the profession. Initially, it used to affect me, but now I take it as a sign that I’m doing my job well. If people are reacting strongly, it means I’ve made an impact,” she added.
Despite the challenges, Ishita remains focused on delivering compelling performances and experimenting with diverse characters. With her dedication and talent, she continues to carve a niche for herself in the television industry.
Ishita also opened up about dealing with trolls and said, “Honestly, they don’t affect me as much,” she shared. “I have come to understand that negativity is part and parcel of this industry. Not everyone will like what you do, and that’s okay. I choose to focus on the love and support I receive from my fans and well-wishers.”
