Gulki Joshi has been one of the most adored names on TV. The actress delivered an irreplaceable character Haseena Malik with Maddam Sir. Gulki recently did an interesting episode with Vinit Kakar and Vivek Dahiya for the series Hasratein season 2 and it has been buzz. Now, in an exclusive conversation with Times Of India TV, Gulki got candid about her experience, on working with the actors and more.

On shooting for the episode

I am very excited, although it is just an episode but I think the amount of layers and the different upheaval and downheaval of emotions and everything that I have had in one episode seems like a long series.

Her take on exploring different characters

Honestly, it has not that been a while. I have barely taken a short gap of 6 months and amid that I have been working and doing projects. I have done a lot of cameos and I have been doing theatre. Unfortunately, theatre doesn't get as much recognition as it should. Yes, it is very important for an actor to do different layers, and as an actor, you feel you can do different characters. It feels good when you get a chance to do all of that. After Maddam Sir where the character was borderline masculine, it was very refreshing to do a new role. It was all flowy, beautiful and soft.

On working with Vinit and Vivek

It was so much fun, it felt like Haseena Malik ban ke jitni masculine ban gayi thi. I turned back into the soft girl after playing Neha. Vivek and Vinit are very good actors. I had completely opposite scenes with both. I had intense scenes with Vinit and there were soft scenes with Vivek. He even made me feel very comfortable. I enjoyed it a lot.
