Exclusive - Archana Puran Singh on Kapil Sharma cracking jokes on her; says 'Lot of people take it seriously but I always mention that why are you all getting affected?'

Archana Puran Singh openly discussed the fun banter between her and Kapil Sharma, especially the jokes he makes about her. She mentioned that while many people take these jokes seriously, she always tells them, "Why be bothered?" During an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV while promoting The Great Indian Kapil Show, Archana explained that it's all in good humor and part of their on-screen dynamic, which fans have grown to love on the show.
Speaking about her bond with Kapil and the jokes he cracks on her, Archana emphasized that it's all in good fun, she said, "Lot of people take it seriously but I always mention that I don’t take these jokes cracked on me seriously then why you all are getting affected. Aap mere liye kyun serious hojaate hain, Archana ji aap ko bura nahi lagta, humko toh aapke liye bura lagta hai… first of all it is a professional space and that’s where we are making joke. Personal life mein Kapil thodi Na mere upar jokes crack karta hai. In personal life he’s very respectful, loving and we have a lot of affection for each other."
Archana went on to mention in the interview that she and Kapil Sharma have known each other since their time on Comedy Circus, "Aur Jahan se shuruwat hui thi from Comedy Circus, he was a contestant there and I was a judge. I used to literally find it really cute that despite being a contestant he would crack punches on me. Aisa lagta tha jaise koi chota baccha apni mummy ko bolta ho “Tu kya samjhti hai apne aap ko?”its lot of fun. How cute he is and he has so much guts… he knows very well that I will be giving him marks and still he is not scared and cracking jokes on me. I used to love that and it had become a flavour of Comedy Circus that judges par punch maaro especially on Archana ji as she will give us good marks."
Archana, who has hosted several seasons of Comedy Circus revealed, "I used to love and enjoy the sheer guts and the humour. My bond with Kapil began from Comedy Circus and he still cracks jokes on me and then says sorry. He says, “Sorry Archana ji Mujhe joke marna padta hai..” even Krushna sometimes apologises that Archana ji please don’t mind. And really I don’t mind and I tell them Tum logon ko itne saalon mein pata nahi chala. Kapil and I love each other and we have great mutual respect.".
