Celebrity Masterchef: Dipika Kakar credits sister-in-law Saba for inspiring her to feature recipes in vlogs; says 'It was never a planned thing'

The Celebrity Masterchef'Masterclass' episodes are churning out some great recipes and the contestants are spilling some interesting stories about their life. The episodes are keeping the audiences hooked to the TV show.In the latest episode,Dipika Kakar, Tejasswi Prakash, Faisu and homecook Survarna joined Chef Ranveer Brar to learn a visually spectacular looking 'Sounds of Chocolate' recipe.
During the episode, Dipika gave a tutorial of her recipe Sweet Potato tart to the audience and Tejasswi Prakash, Faisu and Suvarna. While she was making her dish, Tejasswi asked her few quick questions about her Vlogging and YouTube journey. Tejasswi asked her what inspired her to start her YouTube journey by filming and sharing her recipes, and what made her choose cooking as the content to showcase.
Dipika responded by saying that it was her sister-in-law Saba Ibrahim's idea to share her recipes in her Vlogs. She said, "Honestly, when I started my YouTube journey, it wasn't my idea to start with. It was my sister-in-law Saba who told me that you have a lot to share in your Vlogs, I do a lot of DIY and crafts at home. I make a lot of little things. I love making food. She said, "Why don't you share it?' So I thought of giving it a shot.It was never a planned thing. It was never about making a channel;. It was about sharing my recipes. I just wanted to share what Dipika is like. That is why the name of my channel is Dipika Ki Duniya. It was always a zero-filter sneak peek into Dipika's world."
While Chef Ranveer was making the recipe, Faisu shared that Dipika has a sweet tooth and loves eating chocolates. That's when the Sasural Simar Ka actress revealed about her midnight cravings during pregnancy. Dipika quickly adds that during pregnancy she had a craving for potato chips dipped in chocolate. Dipika recalled, "Pregnancy mein midnight craving yehi hua karta tha, one bowl of chips with chocolate."
Ranveer remarks that through her song selections and even her love for chocolate chip and dip, they're beginning to understand her personality more. Dipika playfully adds that she's relieved this side of her didn’t come out during the Celebrity Masterchef competition—otherwise, the judges might not have taken her seriously.
