Apple’s first-ever AR/VR headset, the Vision Pro, is set to be available in more countries outside the US. At the company’s annual developer conference, WWDC 2024, the company’s CEO Tim Cook announced that the Vision Pro’s availability will be expanded to new countries and regions. Apple Vision Pro will be available in mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore starting June 28. Customers in these regions will be able to pre-order starting June 14. Meanwhile, the headset will be available to customers in Australia, Canada, France, Germany and the UK starting July 12. Apple Vision will be available for pre-order starting June 28.

With this update, Apple will introduce new features to Apple Vision Pro users, including transforming photos into 3D memories, intuitive hand gestures for Home View, enhanced Mac Virtual Display, Travel Mode, Guest User capabilities, and improvements to Mindfulness, Safari, and the Apple TV app.
The company has also confirmed that the App Store now includes more than 2,000 apps designed for Apple Vision Pro. VisionOS 2 is set to arrive as a free update that the company will roll out later this year.
