Paytm launches UPI statement download feature: How it works

Paytm has launched a service that will allow users to quickly download their UPI transaction history, providing users with a convenient way to track their spending, manage their finances and prepare for tax season.
With this new service, Paytm users can access their UPI statement for any date range or financial year in a downloadable PDF format. An Excel format option will also be introduced soon.
The statement includes detailed information about each transaction, including transaction amounts, recipient details, bank accounts used, and timestamps, all in a clear, user-friendly format.
"Our commitment to advancing mobile payments drives us to offer services that simplify financial management and provide convenience for our users. With the UPI statement download, we innovate to offer easy access to transaction history, empowering users to make informed financial decisions,” said a Paytm spokesperson.

The UPI statement download is located within the “Balance & History” section, where users can select their desired date range and download statements with just a few clicks.
To download their UPI statement, Paytm users can:
Go to the "Balance & History" section of the app
Select the desired date range of the statement
These statements are easy to save, share, and use for tasks such as tax filing and expense tracking, providing added convenience and flexibility, the company said.
Other features on Paytm include UPI Lite for small transactions under Rs 2,000 daily, ensuring uncluttered bank statements. Users can also link their RuPay Credit Card with UPI and utilise the auto-pay feature for bill payments.
