Apple has partnered with Amazon to offer its streaming service, Apple TV+, through Prime Video in India. With this move, the Cupertino-based tech giant plans to expand its user base amid increasing competition in the country's streaming market. This integration allows users to stream content directly within the Prime Video app, eliminating the need to switch between multiple apps. Previously, Apple TV+ launched as a Prime Video add-on in the US in October 2024 and is now available in several other countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and various territories in Europe and Latin America.

How to get Apple TV+ subscription from Amazon Prime Video


Amazon Prime members in India can now subscribe to Apple TV+ for Rs 99 per month as an add-on service. This subscription will offer users access to several Apple Originals, including "Ted Lasso," "Severance," and "The Morning Show."
Apple TV+ becomes the latest addition to the suite of other add-on subscription services that Prime Video offers in India. The other platforms available through Prime Video include Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, BBC Player, MGM+, Sony Pictures – Stream, Anime Times, Crunchyroll, Animax+GEM, CN Rewind, FanCode, Channel K, Chaupal, Hoichoi, and Manorama Max.

This comes after Apple introduced the Apple TV app for Android smartphones and tablets in February. The company also recently partnered with Airtel to offer Apple TV+ and Apple Music to Airtel's home Wi-Fi and postpaid customers in India.
Home Wi-Fi subscribers with plans starting at Rs 999 per month receive access to Apple TV+. Meanwhile, postpaid users on plans of Rs999 and above gain access to Apple TV+ along with a six-month complimentary subscription to Apple Music.

Commenting on the partnership, Eddy Cue, Apple’s SVP of Services, said: “Viewers have been loving the ability to subscribe to Apple TV+ on Prime Video, and we’re pleased to now launch this offering in India. We want to make Apple TV+ and its award-winning library of series and films from the world’s greatest storytellers available to audiences around the world.
