The footage confirms the Pixel 9a's minimalist design, featuring a small, oval-shaped camera island on the rear that sits nearly flush with the phone's body. The leaked unit appears in Google's "Obsidian" colorway, a dark gray/black finish.

According to multiple sources, the Pixel 9a will feature a 48MP main camera paired with a 13MP ultrawide sensor. The video demonstrates various focal lengths and includes selfie footage, suggesting camera performance consistent with Google's computational photography standards despite the sub-$500 price point.

The phone is expected to run on Google's Tensor G4 processor—the same chip powering the flagship Pixel 9 series—paired with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB. A 6.28-inch FHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 2,700-nit peak brightness is anticipated, along with a substantial 5,100mAh battery.
