Connor McDavid, the star player of the Edmonton Oilers, has finally spoken about how he feels to be back to the regular NHL games after competing in the 4 Nations Face Off. The star player have not been able to perform well in this season of the NHL and it seems like it is catching up to feel. He recently spoke about his feelings and “poor” performance but fans have a different suggestion for the star player.

In a recent interview posted on X by Sportsnet, Connor McDavid was asked how difficult it has been for him to play in the regular NHL season after playing in the 4 Nations Face Off last week. He said, “I’d be lying if I said I’ve been feeling good out there. You know, it’s been tough to get going…obviously big emotional week um exciting week, last week”.

But fans of the star player feel that Connor McDavid wants to be traded. A fan wrote, “He wants out, lol 😂”, while another fan wrote, “Let's do it. Ask for a trade, McDavid. Lots of teams want you.”
A third fan wrote, “Come join Sid in Pittsburgh. Pick up Mack on the way.”

Many fans also slammed him for the continuos “poor” performance; a fan wrote, “Excuses. Lead by example and play like you wanna win.”
Other fans also criticised hosting the 4 Nations Face Off in the middle of the NHL season. A fan wrote, “Who can blame him? He just spent two weeks in world class cities surrounded by winners and leaders like Crosby, MacKinnon, Point, Makar, Bennett. Gotta be tough and depressing returning to the realization you’re stuck in Edmonton for another 1.5 seasons of your life.”
Another fan wrote, “Hmmm maybe the 4 Nations in the middle of the season wasn’t such a good idea. Nobody seemed to mind while it was going on and the owners were lining their pockets with fans money though..”
Fans are expecting Connor McDavid to improve in the next few matches. Edmonton Oilers will be playing against the Carolina Hurricanes soon.
