The Seattle Seahawks had been relatively lucky in terms of their player’s health this season, if not except for right tackle. But another blow has come to the Seahawks' offensive line after star right guard Anthony Bradford suffered an injury in their 16-6 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Bradford got injured on Seattle's first possession of the game and isn't sure to make it next week.

Injury to Anthony Bradford

Bradford was injured very early in the game, and it was evident that it wasn't a minor one. He was carried off on the field with support and into the locker room where he was to be more evaluated. The team ruled him out as likely not to return, and by the end of the game, no one expected Bradford to come back into that game again. At the end of the game, Bradford could be seen with a walking boot and crutches, so the injury might be severe.

Likely Absence for Week 13

With the injury and Bradford walking around on crutches after the game wearing a walking boot, there is a good chance that he may not be ready for the Seahawks during their Week 13 game against the New York Jets. This would leave a pretty big hole in the offensive line of the team as Bradford had been a very comforting presence at right guard until now.

Christian Haynes to Step Up

A third-round rookie, Christian Haynes, takes over at right guard as well without Bradford. He's made a strong impression on the coaches in the season by how well he's developed. Haynes will be asked to step up in this important role. A rookie, his practice performance and field versatility may stand the Seahawks' line in good stead going forward.

Looking Ahead

But the blow to Bradford is yet another obstacle for the already weak right tackle of the Seahawks, who has seen too much transition. How long Bradford will be out and how quickly Haynes can pick up on the extremely challenging role remains a mystery. The Seahawks' success this season has been largely due to the offensive line, and with this latest injury, they will have to respond with sufficient depth and adaptability. Fans and analysts will be following the changing lineup very closely in the coming weeks.
