“Ain’t no ladies checking for you”: Stephen A. Smith comments on scandal-free image amid Shannon Sharpe allegations gets him brutally trolled

Shannon Sharpe, the NFL legend, has been having a tough time ever since he found himself involved in a scandal with a young woman. The NFL legend has strongly denied such allegations and has even leaked their texts along with an official statement claiming to have been in a "consensual" relationship with the woman. Amidst the mess, Shannon Sharpe's former co-host Stephen A. Smith has made some shocking statements.


On a recent episode of Stephen A. Smith’s YouTube show, he spoke about Shannon Sharpe getting involved in the scandal and said, “Some people sit up there, look at me, and they say, ‘Stephen A. don’t get himself in this kind of trouble. How does he pull it off?’ Well, first of all. There’s certain behaviors and proclivities that you never have to worry about me engaging in.”
But this statement has not gone down too well with fans even though Stephen A. Smith has said that he does not believe Shannon Sharpe can sexually assault a woman.
A fan took to X and posted, “People bookmarking this because there's no saint in this world and this clip might be hilarious in a few years”, while another fan wrote, “Ain’t no ladies checking for you Stephan A. 😂”

A third fan commented, “It's actually genuinely disgusting to be publicly berating your friend like this in his weakest moment while also getting on a moral high horse about how you're a much better person than him. Most people have no sense of loyalty whatsoever.”

Another fan joked, “Stephen A. moving like he’s on a lifetime no-trade contract with ESPN”, while a fifth fan noted, “@stephenasmith you better stop all these remarks because years to come, it will come & bite you. No one is a saint, not even your a*s.”

However, other fans believe Stephen A. Smith is correct. A fan commented, “Mad respect to SAS. I know he gets a lot of heat but the man is a professional when he needs to be”
Another fan posted, “Stephen A is absolutely right. Actions have consequences. You always have to answer to somebody. SAS been in the game too long, he ain’t getting in trouble for this sh*t. Shannon just started and thought he was on top of the world.”
However, Shannon Sharpe has not reacted to Stephen A. Smith’s comments. The NFL legend and his attorneys have not accepted the allegations and has even leaked the texts exchanged between Shannon Sharpe and the young woman.
For now, Shannon Sharpe has stepped down from his role at ESPN.
