New Chapter for Regina Jackson

Although she does attain this significant milestone, Jackson is not one of four agents currently representing Daniels through the NFLPA. She chose certification because of a desire to assist and advise her son as he navigates his professional career. Publicist Denise White said, "For her, sitting for the agent's exam is to learn more, to be able to help her son concentrate on playing while she handles everything off-field.". How to Become a Certified NFL Agent

As Jones explained, becoming an NFL-certified agent is no easy feat. One must have an undergraduate as well as a postgraduate degree, undergo a background check, pay $2,500, attend a multi-day virtual seminar, and pass an agent exam. Apart from that, agents are required to pay annual fees that may cost them anywhere from $1,500 to $2,000.

Regina’s Credentials

Jackson earned an MBA with a concentration in entrepreneurship and a master's in public service administration. She sat for certification at the end of July, demonstrating the passion she has for her son's business.

More and More NFL Parents

Regina Jackson does not walk alone in this regard. Many NFL player parents are also certified agents. Heather Van Norman, Odell Beckham Jr.'s mother, and Alishia Jones, Jaylon Jones, a cornerback for the Indianapolis Colts, have achieved this milestone too. Joe Linta and Patrice McDowell-Brown, parents of former NFL players join this exclusive list.

Daniels Gets Off to Flying Start

Jayden Daniels is coming off a remarkable start to his career, notching a 4-1 record in the first five games. He has been efficient as well, completing 77.1% of his passes for 1,135 yards and four touchdowns with two interceptions. In addition to his passing numbers, he has also contributed 300 yards and four rushing touchdowns. At the rate he is going, he will both compete for the Offensive Rookie of the Year and help the Commanders get their first playoff in years since 2020.
