As April unfolds, Delhi is already grappling with blistering heat, with temperatures climbing rapidly and already reaching 40 degrees Celsius in the coming days. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave warning for the next 48 hours, encompassing Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Gujarat, urging residents to take precautions as the mercury continues its upward trend. The intense weather has also prompted a red alert for Rajasthan, where daytime and nighttime temperatures are forecast to remain exceptionally high.
As per reports, the temperatures during the day and night will be extremely high, but the situation is expected to improve after 48 hours. Additionally, light rainfall is anticipated in the Himalayas for the next 4-5 days.
