Anant Ambani, the younger son of industrialist Mukesh Ambani, on Sunday completed a 180-km padyatra from Jamnagar to Dwarkadhish Temple in Dwarka, just before his 30th birthday. His mother, Nita Ambani, and wife, Radhika, supported him throughout this spiritual endeavour.

Anant, known for his deep religious convictions, embarked on this spiritual journey on March 29 as an act of devotion to Lord Krishna. Walking 6-7 hours daily, he covered approximately 20 kilometers each day while chanting the Hanuman Chalisa and the Sundarkand chapter.

For Anant, who suffers from Cushing’s Syndrome—a rare hormonal disorder—and morbid obesity, along with chronic conditions like asthma this pilgrimage was about placing faith above fear, devotion above discomfort, and discipline above ease.

Throughout his pilgrimage, Anant received overwhelming support from local communities, with many joining him for portions of his sacred walk.

Over the years, Anant has been a significant patron of religious institutions across India. His philanthropic contributions include the restoration and maintenance of several prominent temples, including the Kalighat Temple in Kolkata, the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, and the Kamakhya Temple in Assam.
