NEW DELHI: The Election Commission of India on Friday announced the dates of polling in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The UT is set to go to polls in three phases starting September 18. The votes would be counted on October 8.
Phase 2 of the assembly elections will be held on September 25 and the 3rd phase will be conducted on October 1.
This is the first assembly elections in J&K after the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019.
