"As of now, it seems that they (BJP) will form the govt... We raised the issues but I think people thought that we are not going to form the govt - we accept the decision of the people," said Dikshit in a statement, reflecting a sombre acceptance of the apparent outcome.

According to current trends, BJP has secured more than the required seats to form the government in Delhi.
The latest figures show BJP leading in 48 constituencies, while AAP trails with 22 seats. To establish a government in the national capital, a party needs to win at least 36 seats.
