'Om Bheem Bush': When and where to watch the horror-comedy on streaming platforms

Telugu horror-comedy 'Om Bheem Bush' opened to mixed reviews at the box office but managed to capture audience interest with its quirky humor and supernatural elements. Directed by Sree Harsha Konuganti, the film will soon be streaming online outside India.

After its theatrical release on March 22, 2024, the film secured digital streaming rights with Amazon Prime Video and became available on the platform from April 12, 2024. Recently, it was announced that 'Om Bheem Bush' will also be streaming on the OTT platform SimplySouth starting May 2, 2025, in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages. However, this streaming will be available only to audiences outside India.


On X (formerly Twitter), the OTT platform, through their handle, wrote, "#OmBheemBush, streaming in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam on Simply South from May 2 worldwide, excluding India."


The film stars Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi, Rahul Ramakrishna, and others in key roles. The story follows three scientist friends named Krish, Vinay, and Madhav, who arrive in the village of Bhairavapuram searching for a hidden treasure. Their quest leads them to the eerie Sampangi Mahal, a palace long believed to be haunted.
As the trio investigates, they encounter the vengeful spirit of Sampangi, a noblewoman cursed to guard the palace's dark secrets. The film unfolds as the friends try to unravel the mystery behind the ghost and the treasure, only to discover a sinister web of dark magic that threatens more than just their lives. The mix of comedy and horror keeps the narrative engaging, with the characters using science rather than superstition to face supernatural challenges.
Raj Thota handled cinematography, and Sunny M.R. composed the music.
The film's runtime is approximately two and a half hours.
