“Our motto was to make an entertainer,” Jeo Baby the director of Tovino Thomas starrer ‘Kilometers And Kilometers exclusively tells ETimes. Jeo Baby, who has directed ‘2 Penkuttikal’ and ‘Kunju Daivam’ in the past, is aiming for a commercially successful entertainer with his upcoming movie ‘Kilometers And Kilometers’.

Talking about his previous movie, the director said, “‘Kunju Daivam’ was a commercial movie, but unfortunately it didn’t work well in the theatres. It wasn’t a big release and didn’t have huge stars. But had all the factors of a commercial movie.”
With Tovino Thomas essaying the lead, ‘Kilometers And Kilometers’ tells the story of an American lady setting off on a journey after winning a lottery. She is accompanied by Josemon (Tovino Thomas), who hails from Kottayam. Josemon isn’t a travel enthusiast but is forced to accompany her owing to a financial crisis. Foreigner India Jarvis is essaying the role of an American lady in the movie.
“‘Kilometers And Kilometers’ is an out and out entertainer. We have treated the script in a way that will entertain all types of audience, the younger generation, adults and people of all age groups,” Jeo Baby confirms emphasizing that the movie will be a perfect entertainer.
As Tovino Thomas has emerged as one of the most loved young actors in M-Town, the wait for his movies is indescribable. ‘Kilometers And Kilometers’ was slated to release on March 12, however, the global concern of the Coronavirus has forced the makers to postpone the release date. The director adds that there is uncertainty about the release dates at present. However, the team will work towards getting the movie to the theatres once things come back to normal.
