Rakshit Shetty begins work on his film with Sudeep

Last year, soon after the release of Ulidavaru Kandante, when Rakshit Shetty was on the set of Bigg Boss Kannada, he expressed his desire to work with the show’s host Sudeep. The Kannada star gladly accepted the offer to do the film, which was soon titled Thugs of Malgudi. Rakshit now tells us that he has begun scripting the film and he tells us if all goes well, he could be ready to roll in January.
When we asked Sudeep about this, he said, “On the Bigg Boss stage, I accepted his offer and it holds good. A passionate filmmaker takes his time until he is satisfied with the script. Whenever Rakshit tells me he is ready to roll, I will be there.”
