Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin has been fined 5 million KRW by the Ministry of Employment and Labor for workplace harassment against a former employee.
Despite her initial denials of the allegations, the ministry confirmed in their official report that "some illegal actions did occur." According to a report by Ten Asia on March 24, the fine was issued following a complaint filed by an ex-ADOR employee, referred to as 'A,' with the labour ministry. The Western Branch of the Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office recently sent 'A' an official case resolution notice, detailing their findings.
A report on allkpop details, "The remarks and actions repeatedly directed by the perpetrator (Min Hee Jin) toward the complainant in October and December 2023 exceeded the appropriate scope of workplace interactions and caused physical and psychological distress, worsening the working environment."

Based on these findings, the office concluded that Min Hee Jin's actions constituted workplace harassment, leading to the imposition of the maximum fine allowed under the law.
Additionally, Min Hee Jin was found to have interfered with the workplace harassment investigation and was accused of conducting a biased internal inquiry. The office ruled, that her actions violated the obligation to conduct an objective and impartial investigation.
The ruling marks a significant development in the ongoing scrutiny surrounding Min Hee Jin's leadership during her tenure at ADOR. Last November, she resigned from her position as an internal director at ADOR and terminated her shareholder agreement with HYBE. She was instrumental in the success of the K-Pop band NewJeans.
