Khan, who was close to Dilip Kumar, once asked him for advice on how to create memorable performances.
As reported in News18, Shah Rukh Khan once asked Dilip Kumar, “Sir, what is the quality that makes all the films that you have done so enduring, so long-lasting and so wonderful?” Dilip Kumar quipped, “That’s a handful of questions to deal with.”
Kumar believed that his success was due to a mix of good luck, hard work, honesty, and collaboration.

He emphasised that no actor can be greater than the character they portray, which includes the story and screenplay. For a performance to be memorable, Shah Rukh noted, there needs to be a solid story, strong character relationships, meaningful conflict, and ample opportunities for the actor to engage with the material. This way, an actor can connect with real substance, not just superficial elements.
Khan is now one of the biggest actors and celebrities in India and around the world. Fans are looking forward to his new film, 'King', directed by Sujoy Ghosh, which will also star his daughter, Suhana Khan. A recent report says the film will be officially announced on Shah Rukh's birthday, November 2.
'King' will follow a complex don who becomes a mentor to a girl. Shah Rukh Khan will play the don, and Suhana Khan will be his trainee. Reports say Abhishek Bachchan will have a negative role, which Amitabh Bachchan confirmed on X. Abhay Verma, known from 'Munjya', will also have an important part in the film.
