Varun Dhawan gets emotional as he says that his daughter Lara ate solid food for the first time today

Varun Dhawan is currently promoting his upcoming movie 'Baby John'. The actor is in Jaipur today, (Friday, December 12), to promote the film. During an event held, Varun revealed that it's a very emotional day for him as his daughter ate solid food for the first time today and he missed it because he's there in Jaipur
The actor admitted that when he became a father to his baby girl (who they've named Lara), he didn't even imagine that he would feel those emotions. He further added, "Today is actually a kind of emotional day because my baby started eating solid food for the first time today. And I missed it because I am here. My wife (Natasha Dalal) sent me a video. There are certain milestones that no father or mother wants to miss- when your child starts talking, eating or walking. I never knew that I would become one of those people." He further joked that he thinks this is ‘baapta’- fatherly love, just like ‘mamta’ is motherly love. “Mamta ke baare mein suna hai ye baapta hai."
Varun tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart Natasha Dalal in January 2021. The couple became parents to a baby girl Lara on June 3, 2024. Meanwhile, Varun's film 'Baby John' is set to release this Christmas. The film sees Varun along side Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi. The actor was last seen in 'Citadel' made by Raj and DK, co-starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
