Uttar Pradesh Police have announced a �?5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of each of the five remaining suspects in the kidnapping case of comedian Sunil Pal. Pal was abducted on December 2nd, held for nearly 24 hours, and released after a ransom demand. One suspect has already been apprehended following an encounter with police.

Sunil Pal’s kidnapping case has taken a new turn. According to the latest update, Uttar Pradesh Police have announced a reward of �?5,000 on each of the five absconding accused in the case of stand-up comedian and actor Sunil Pal's kidnapping. According to a PTI report, the officials gave this statement on Tuesday.
Senior Superintendent of Police Vipin Tada shared the identity information of the five accused. He told PTI the absconding individuals are Lavi Pal alias Sushant alias Himanshu, Akash alias Gola alias Deependra, Shiva, Ankit alias Pahadi, and Shubham.
“All five have been declared wanted, and efforts are underway with continuous police raids to trace and arrest them. Notably, Arjun Karnwal was earlier arrested by the Meerut police following an encounter in connection with the case,�?Tada said.


Sunil Pal’s kidnapping case

Stand-up comedian and actor Sunil Pal was allegedly abducted on December 2. Reports state that he was kidnapped after being invited under the pretense of performing at an event. He was held hostage for nearly 24 hours and then the kidnappers asked for a ransom of Rs 8 lakhs, after which he was released.
Thereafter, Sunil's wife Sarita registered a zero FIR in Mumbai. The complaint was subsequently transferred to the Lal Kurti police station in Meerut, with the local police launching an investigation into the claims.
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Sunil Pal shared an appreciative post to laud the efforts of UP Police, the state government, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for their swift action in the case. He shared a video in which he said, “Namaskar doston, main hun Sunil Pal. Jaisa ki saara desh jaanta hai ki 2 December ko mere saath apharan kidnapping ki durghatna UP Meerut ke aas pass hui this aapne suna hoga. Lekin main bahut dhnyavaad karna chahunga humaare Yogi sarkar ko, UP sarkar ko jinke nirdeshan main yahan ke Meerut police ne, UP police ne badhe bahaduri se is case ka saamna kiya aur jitne apradhi hai unke upar sakt se sakt karwaayi ki."
He further added, “Ek ko toh muthbair main pair par goli lagi aur sakth se sakth sazaa mil rai hai aur jald hi sach ka saamna aur satya aapke samne ayega ki apharan main kaun kaun shaamil tha."
“Aur kaisai hogi humaari Yogi sarcar hai na nipatne ke liye. Adarniye Yogi ji main bhagwaan se prarthana karta hun ki aap hamesha aesai hi yashaswi UP ke mukhyamantri bane rahe aage bhi. Aur police ko nirdeshan dete rahe. Satyamev Jayate,�?concluded the actor.
