She is married to Mritunjay Kumar Singh, promoter of Alkem Laboratories, and they have two children: Meghna, a dermatologist and social worker, and their son, Shrey.

Filmmaker Karan Johar hosted Meghna’s sangeet ceremony along with actress Sushmita Sen. She looked beautiful in a black saree, and Karan wore a red sherwani. The event was lively, with Shahid Kapoor dancing to his popular songs, including "Mauja Hi Mauja" with Shrey Singh and a solo performance of "Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya." Videos of Shahid’s dance went viral, and fans loved it.
