During the media meet-and-greet, Aamir shared how he met Gauri and how their bond deepened over time. According to Hindustan Times, when asked about her favourite movies, she admitted that she wasn’t familiar with many of them.

Aamir explained that his partner had not been exposed to Hindi films while growing up due to different cinematic influences. “So she doesn’t watch Hindi films. She has probably not seen much of my work either,” he said. Despite this, Aamir expressed his desire for Gauri to watch Taare Zameen Par, especially since the film is set for a re-release, giving them a chance to experience it on the big screen together.

The couple’s relationship, which has reportedly spanned over a year and a half, is built on a long-standing connection of 25 years. Aamir had also introduced Gauri to his close friends Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan prior to his 60th birthday.
On the work front, Aamir is gearing up for the release of his next film, 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. The movie, directed by RS Prasanna, is expected to hit theatres in June 2025. It is a thematic sequel to the 2007 classic 'Taare Zameen Par'.
