'Be Aabroo' filmmaker Shiv Kumar Khurana passes away

Producer-director Shiv Kumar passed away on 25th October. Shiv who was 83, died of an age-related illness. He breathed his last at Brahmakumari Global Hospital in Bombay due to a recent age-related illness. He was 83. He is survived by his wife, two sons and their families.
Shiv Kumar directed a number of films including Mitti Aur Sona, First Love Letter, Badnaam, Badkaar, Bud Naseeb, Be Aabroo, Begunah, Jaalsaaz, Sone Ki Zanjeer and Inteqam Ki Aag.
He has also worked as a producer for three of his directorial ventures which include ‘Dagabaaz’, ‘Hum Tum Aur Woh’ and ‘Ang Se Ang Lagaley’. Shiv Kumar Khurana was also the first filmmaker who signed Vinod Khanna as hero. The filmmaker was extremely soft-spoken.
His prayer meeting will be held tomorrow October 28 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Four Bungalows, Andheri West, Bombay.
