Accoridng to a report in Pinkvilla, Mr Bachchan earned an impressive Rs 350 crore in the financial year 2024-25, with a tax liability of Rs 120 crore. His income comes from major films, brand endorsements, and hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati, making him one of the highest-earning individuals in the film industry, even at the age of 82.

The report further added that Big B paid his final advance tax installment of Rs 52.50 crore on March 15, 2025. Known for his discipline, he ensures timely tax payments. Even at 82, he remains dedicated to taking on exciting projects in 2025, continuing to inspire fans and leaving a lasting impact in the industry.

Amitabh Bachchan has now reportedly surpassed Shah Rukh Khan as the highest tax-paying celebrity. Last year, Shah Rukh paid approximately Rs 92 crore in taxes, but Big B has now taken the top spot with his substantial contributions, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career.
