Abhishek Bachchan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Be Happy’, a heartfelt story that deeply explores the bond between a father and daughter. In a recent interview, the actor revealed that his 13-year-old daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, played a significant role in shaping his performance.
“It just makes it that much easier if you can draw a parallel to your life or if there’s an emotion that you have experienced,” Abhishek shared, highlighting how personal experiences as a father influenced his portrayal of Shiv in the film.

In a conversation with PTI, Abhishek Bachchan emphasized the lack of Hindi films centered around the father-daughter relationship, calling it an underrepresented theme. Be Happy delves into the emotional and practical struggles of a family navigating life after the loss of a mother. While acknowledging that no one can replace a mother’s presence, Abhishek noted how parents often go beyond their limits to provide the best for their children. “As an actor, you always look for an emotional connection to a role. But when you can relate it to real-life experiences, it deepens the impact and makes the process even more seamless,” he explained.

'Be Happy' also marks Abhishek’s reunion with child actor Inayat Verma, with whom he previously worked in the 2020 comedy-drama Ludo. The film features an ensemble cast, including Nora Fatehi, Nassar, Johnny Lever, and Harleen Sethi. The film follows a father-in-law, son-in-law, and granddaughter as they cope with this profound loss, showing how a father steps up to fill the void left behind.

Scheduled for release on March 14, 'Be Happy' promises to be an emotional rollercoaster that celebrates love, loss, and the strength of familial bonds.
