Rutuja Lad & Avanti Patel shared musical trivia with the audience
On Saturday evening, vocalists of the group, O Gaanewali, enchanted those on board a barge on the Hooghly with their soulful performance. The soiree - a part of the recently concluded Literary Meet - was led by Avanti Patel. Guests were treated to thumri, dadra and ghazal as a tribute to the erstwhile
female performers and tawaifs of India.
