The Tala Prattoy ground was packed with music aficionados who got immersed in the magical musical notes of Sarod maestro, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan. The second day of the third edition of the Music In A Park, hosted by Tala Prattoy to commence their centenary year celebrations and mark the occasion of Saraswati Pujo with a divine musical offering, was a grand affair.
As Tala Prattoy embarks on its centenary celebrations, this year’s theme, Shotoborshey Tala Prattoy - Shathey Bhobotosh Sutar Songhey Apni weaves together the threads of tradition, unity, and the timeless spirit of community.
On the second day of the two-day musical soiree, Music In A Park, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan took the stage today, and delivered soulful performances, with the versatile Pandit Swapan Chowdhury accompanying him on tabla.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of Saraswati Pujo, the first day of this grand celebration also received an overwhelming response, with audiences captivated by the spellbinding performance of Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia.
