Lucknow: The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow achieved over 91% campus placement for its outgoing undergraduate engineering batch 2021-25. The recruitment process is ongoing while the engineering students will graduate in June 2025. The authorities are optimistic that the institute will accomplish 100% placement.

"Our students secured positions in leading multinational corporations, including Amazon, Cred, Google, Uber, Oracle, Flipkart and numerous others. The most exciting part of this year's placement is that our students are yet to complete the degree course, but as many as 91% of the engineering batch accepted the offer letters and will be joining jobs as soon as the course is over," said IIIT-L director Arun Mohan Sherry.
The director said that the institute maintains its track record of achieving excellent academic performance and placement results.
Anikate Koul, who bagged the highest package so far, shared that he will be joining Rubrik, a cloud data management and data security company, as a software engineer. "I am thrilled to share that I joined Rubrik as a winter intern this January," he said.
"The major factor behind choosing IIIT Lucknow was the conducive learning environment it fosters and the strong coding culture passed down through successive batches of talented, hardworking individuals. I am eternally grateful to my mentors and manager for guiding me through every step of this new journey," said Anikate.
He said a significant part of his achievements is attributed to his family, his father Surinder Koul, who works in a private pharma company, and his mother Jyoti Koul, a housewife whose unwavering support has been his backbone, his friends and seniors at IIIT Lucknow, from whom he learned not just academic lessons but also valuable industrial insights.
Another student, Dilip Patnana, who is also placed in the same company on the same package as Anikate, said, "Getting placed at one of the leading companies on such a good package of Rs 71 lakh per annum is like a dream," said Dilip.
