Tamil Nadu: 4 dead in car-TNSTC bus collision near Tiruvannamalai

TIRUVANNAMALAI: Four people died when the car they were travelling in collided head-on with a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) bus near Tiruvannamalai on Sunday.

Police said a group of four people, identified as Sailesh, Sathish Kumar, Stalin, and Charush, were returning to their hometown, Puducherry, in an SUV after visiting Bengaluru at 2:30 am.

on Sunday, when they crossed So Kattukulam near Tiruvannamalai on the Chennai-Tiruvannamalai national highway, their car collided head-on with a TNSTC bus coming from the opposite direction.

The four people from Puducherry were crushed to death on the spot in the accident.
