4 dead, 10 injured as mini van rams stationary truck at Andhra Pradesh's Madakasira

TIRUPATI: At least four people died and ten were wounded in a gory road mishap reported near Bulla Samudram in Madakasira mandal at Sri Sathya Sai district on Saturday.

According to the local police, a group of devotees were returning back to their native after a pilgrimage to Tirumala when the fatal road mishap took place near Bulla Samudram early this morning.

The mini van on which the devotees group were travelling in, rammed into a stationary truck from behind at very high speed.

While there were 14 persons inside the vehicle, four inmates succumbed to injuries on the spot, while ten others who sustained injuries were rushed to the local hospitals and to Bengaluru.
