Nissan MagniteFirst car on the list is Nissan Magnite facelift which will be launched on October 4, 2024. In terms of design, the overall silhouette will remain the same but the SUV will feature a re-designed grille, bumper and headlights. It continues to get L-shaped DRLs and it will also get newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, it’s expected to get a re-designed tailgate with a new bumper and also LED taillights. Other exterior highlights will include a scuff plate, integrated spoiler, sharkfin antenna and much more.
Moving inside, the overall cabin layout will remain unchanged but the facelift SUV will get leather upholstery with new colour scheme and minor adjustments in the cabin. It will also get a bigger touchscreen infotainment system with a new layout for the digital instrument cluster. Other expected features include a single-pane electric sunroof, wireless charger, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, connected car tech, OTA updates, six airbags, automatic climate control and much more.

The Magnite facelift will continue to get two engine options - a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, NA petrol engine with 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque. Gearbox options will include a 5-speed manual or an AMT. Another engine option is a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine with 100 PS of power and 160 nm torque. Gearbox options will include a manual and a CVT automatic.
Kia CarnivalSecond car on the list is Kia Carnival luxury MPV which will be launched on October 3, 2024. The MPV in its fourth generation is expected to come to India via the CBU route and is expected to carry a price tag of more than Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the luxury MPV are already underway, interested customers can book it online or by visiting their nearest dealership. The booking amount is set at Rs 2 lakh.
The new Kia Carnival will be offered in two variants - Limousine and Limousine Plus. Both variants will be powered by a sole 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, CRDi turbocharged diesel engine with 193hp of power and 441Nm of torque. Compared to the previous gen, the torque is up by 1Nm and the power has gone down by 7hp. The engine comes paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox which sends power to the front wheels. The MPV is also expected to get different drive and terrain modes.
In terms of features, the MPV gets dual 12.3-inch curved displays for infotainment and instrument cluster, three-zone climate control, a head-up display, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, connected car tech, a standard 7-seater (2+2+3) layout, a 4-spoke steering wheel, dual electric sunroofs, second-row captain seats with heating and ventilation, a 12-way powered driver’s seat, powered tailgate, power sliding rear doors and much more. In terms of safety, it gets 8 airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, ESC, Hill Assist Control, TPMS, VSM, front, rear and side parking sensors, and an ADAS Level 2 tech.
Kia EV9Another Kia model on the list is Kia EV9 EV SUV which will be launched alongside the Carnival MPV. The EV9 too will be bought to India via CBU route and is expected to be priced from 75 lakh (ex-showroom). The India-spec EV9 will feature a 99.8 kWh battery pack, providing an ARAI-certified range of 561 km. It will be equipped with dual motors—one on each axle—for all-wheel drive capability, generating a combined output of 384 hp and 700 Nm of torque.
The EV9 will come standard with a 6-seater layout, featuring second-row captain's chairs equipped with electric adjustment, a massage function, and adjustable leg support. This model will be imported fully and is anticipated to be priced at approximately Rs 1 crore (ex-showroom). At this price, it will compete with luxury electric SUVs like the Mercedes EQE SUV, BMW iX, and Audi Q8 e-tron.
BYD eMAX 7Another electric car on the list is BYD eMAX 7 MPV. Overseas, the BYD eMax 7 is offered with two battery pack options - a 55.4kWh unit with a claimed range of 420km and a 71.8kWh unit with a 530km range. The e6 offers the 71.8kWh battery in India and it’s expected that the eMAX 7 will get the same setup. The e-motor in the MPV puts out 204 hp of power and 310Nm of torque.
In terms of design, the overall silhouette of the new eMAX 7 remains the same as the e6 but features redesigned front and rear ends. It features a re-designed front end with a new set of LED headlights and at the rear, it gets connected LED lighting with a re-designed tailgate and bumper. Other highlights include newly designed alloy wheels, shark fin antenna, integrated rear spoiler and much more.
Moving inside, the overall layout remains the same but the MPV gets minor tweaks. It’s expected to be offered with both 6-7 seating layout with leatherette upholstery. Other features include a large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, connected tech, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, faux wood and aluminium inserts, re-designed steering wheel with mounted controls and much more.
Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWBThe fifth model on the list is Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB which will launched on October 7, 2024. The new E-Class long-wheelbase measures 5,092mm in length, 1,880mm in width, and 1,493mm in height and has a wheelbase of 3,094mm. The E-Class LWB looks largely the same as the standard version but due to increased length, the sedan gets an elongated rear door with a quarter glass positioned behind the rear door as opposed to being integrated into the rear door with the rear window. In terms of design, it gets a traditional Mercedes-Benz design with a large grille, sleek headlamps and a re-designed front bumper with large intakes. At the rear, it gets sharp and sleek LED taillights with a re-designed bumper and it also gets multi-spoke alloy wheels.
In terms of features, the sedan gets powered reclining rear seats with an ottoman function. In terms of features, the sedan gets three screens - a 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system and another screen facing the front passenger. Other convenience features will include, ambient lighting, a sunroof, multi-zone climate control, leatherette seats, heated and cooled seats, wireless charging, massaging seats and much more.
Talking about the powertrain, the new E-Class gets two engine options - a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine with 204 hp power and a 2.0-litre turbo diesel with 197 hp. Both engines get 48V mild-hybrid tech and come paired to a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
